How much does office plant design cost in NYC, Chicago, or DC?+
Cost depends on your space's square footage, plant and planter selections, and any custom lighting or irrigation needs. We offer a free phone or video consultation to talk through your vision and put together a custom quote for your needs. Often we'll want to make a site visit so we can walk the space together. In general our projects start around $5,000 and some have cost millions — there's no cookie-cutter pricing since every project is different.
Do you provide ongoing plant maintenance, or just installation?+
Both. Most clients pair installation with our weekly or bi-weekly maintenance visits, where our trained horticulturists handle watering, pruning, and pest management. Every plant we install is warrantied under our care, with free replacements.

Can office plants thrive in low-light spaces?+
Yes — low-light offices are more common than you'd think, and we design around it every day. While Pothos, ZZ plants, and snake plants all handle dim conditions well, we also are grow lighting experts and can help advise on how to bring more light into your space and thus more plants. Our design team works with you to recommend the right mix based on your space's actual light, not guesswork.
How long does an office plant installation take?+
Most installations are completed in a single day for smaller spaces; larger buildouts with custom planters or living walls may take a few weeks. We work around your team's schedule to minimize disruption to your workday. The time from a contract being signed to installation taking place is usually about 2 or 3 weeks so we can ensure we source the very best materials for your project. If you're in a rush, just let us know.

Real or artificial plants — which is better for an office?+
Real plants deliver genuine wellness benefits that artificial ones can't, and with the right design and ongoing care, they grow beautifully in office environments, including low-light spaces. Even the very best faux plants feel "off," and people often read that as inauthentic. We've found that replica foliage denigrates a space and brand impressions far more than it helps. Additionally, while they may look green, from an ecological standpoint, they function much more like single-use plastics than actual flora. Because of the negative impact faux plants have on our customers and our planet, we focus our work on live plants.
Do you offer plant rental, or is it a one-time purchase?+
We do both! We work with our clients to find the right plan for them. If you have a short term lease or event, a rental may be the best fit. If you're looking to integrate plants into the architecture of a space for long term growth, purchasing is going to be a better idea. Either way, we offer fully warrantied maintenance for every plant, regardless of how you decide to finance the installation.
