Chicago winters mean dry heat indoors, which can be tough on plants. While we sometimes lean on resilient, low humidity-tolerant varieties like pothos, snake plants, and ZZ plants, we're more inclined to pot things up in self-watering planters that include water reservoirs that help increase the relative humidity around plants.
