Completed in 2025, this innovative staircase installation at a global law firm’s New York City office transforms a simple architectural feature into a vibrant living park. The space incorporates integrated irrigation discreetly hidden behind a removable millwork panel, allowing for easy refills and automated watering—ensuring low-maintenance care while keeping the focus on aesthetics. A dynamic mix of plant clusters, built-in millwork planters, and sculptural green dividers creates a multi-sensory experience ideal for mental refreshment amid a day of complex legal work. This biophilic intervention elevates circulation space into a destination—offering moments of calm, curiosity, and connection in the flow of a busy office.
