Process
Step One: Site Visit
Consultations begin with a site visit. During this visit we’ll discuss your space, vision, and budget. Together we will consider photographs of various design styles and plants to get a clear idea of your preferences. We’ll take measurements and photographs of your space and create a sketch to help in the design process. The fee for a site visit is $75.00, which includes a 1 hour meeting and Garden Plan.
Step Two: Garden Plan
After the initial site visit, we create a detailed Garden Plan. This will include plants, containers or hardscape materials, and design suggestions. The garden plan contains photos of plant suggestions as well as information on their growing habits. At the end of your Garden Plan is an itemized quote for the materials and installation. The plan is included in the fee paid for a site visit.
Step Three: Drawing
After we have discussed the Garden Plan and made any necessary revisions based on your input, we render a detailed scale drawing of the plan for your space. In this way you can see the texture and color combinations and get a sense of the space. This drawing will also act as a map for the planting stage. This drawing stage is optional and clients may choose to move directly in to installation phase after approving the Garden Plan. The fee for a drawing is $300.00.
Step Four: Installation
Once the plan and drawing are approved the Greenery NYC team heads to the nursery to pick up plants and supplies, delivers them to your home, and begins work on installing your urban oasis. Fees vary depending on the design and irrigation options and will be discussed prior to installation.
